USPS has required contractors to account for their payments and ensure they have been paid accurately. JB StarSight will meet you where you’re at. As many have learned, this is an incredibly complex process. StarSight is a tool that automates payment auditing and reconciliation—producing results that you can track and use for dispute resolution.

JB StarSight is not a TMS, but rather a tool to help you automate the auditing of payments for USPS loads completed. StarSight aims to meet you where you’re at, working with the tools you currently have in place. We take the data from your TMS on the loads you ran, or did not run, calculate how much each should have been paid, and help you match every payment voucher to a load.

JB StarSight works with what you’ve got.

• It starts by ingesting the reports you download from the USPS Business Analytics platform, as well as a list of the loads you’ve completed.

• Next, you confirm that the rates USPS knows about match the numbers you’ve negotiated—and provide additional information on the rates as needed or desired.

• From there, StarSight pulls in fuel data automatically and calculates how much each load should be paid, then matches USPS vouchers with each load and compares the totals.

• The final steps are up to you: once StarSight finds discrepancies, you can choose how to handle them—accepting what you consider to be minimal or negotiating corrections with the Post Office.

As a JenBar Trucking company, StarSight is aware of the potential conflict of interest and will be implementing safeguards to ensure neither we nor other contractors have access to your data.
